This is my first attempt at creating a high definition 3d model of a small object. I scanned it, imported it into blender where I fixed a little bit of the lumpy-ness, and then simplified the mesh so it could load quickly on a webpage.
I will be revisiting this once my P.A.N.S. prototype is up and running, to create even more detail in the models.

This is my second scan of the Sumo Statue, this time with the aid of my P.A.N.S. device. It has come out much better, even with using less reference photos. Compared to the original scan, which was composed of 1000 images, this new scan is only made from 430 images.
In addition to that, I have learned more and have improved my process for applying finishing touches to the model. In the second model, the finishing touches I applied was to make the hair more smooth and uniform. Once I find out how to properly sculpt models in Blender I can fix the minor imperfections that can be seen below.

I no longer use the wordpress plugin used to show these models, and have lost them through the frequent deletion of scans on my phone when I was using it. TLDR, it was very much improved.
